Vetsutures BIOCRYL RAPID is a braided, coated fast-absorbing synthetic suture made from polyglycolic acid (PGA), designed for closures that only need short-term support while the wound heals quickly. Its braided construction delivers excellent handling and knot security, while the smooth coating lets it glide through tissue and slide down neatly to a secure knot.
BIOCRYL RAPID absorbs noticeably faster than standard BIOCRYL, so support falls away quickly once the tissue no longer needs it, often without the need for suture removal.
